Life-sized Dalek
First year project at Scenic Construction and Properties - Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School.
The Dalek was based on a WETA sculpture (from the rebooted Doctor Who in 2005, the episode entitled “Dalek”). We made technical drawings based on measurements taken off of the model. These were used to make the parts, using sketchup, vcarve, laserworks, and rhino.
The Dalek was constructed using CNC-routing, vac-forming, 3D-printing, laser cutting, molding, kitbashing, weathering, scenic painting and various other techniques.
Team: Eva Elliott, Fil Kopelman, Gabriella Seager, Jacob Keenan, James Searle, Kathryn Wootton, Lotte Van Ginkel, Rhiannon Leddra.
Media about the project: Toi Whakaari.
Moa PUppet
A two week Giant Moa Puppet project for Cupa Dupa. The puppet was made using primarily recycled and organic materials. It saw its debut at the grand opening of Te Taiao Nature at Te Papa, Wellington.

Historical Artifacts
Sculpting, carving, molding, and casting in a wide range of materials.
The candlestick sculpt is based on a Pricket Candlestick (ca. 1300) from South Netherlandish. It was cast in super cast and painted to imitate the original.
Lace (ca. 1960) molded and cast using wax and rubber silicone.
